Spring/Summer Lookbook Pics!

Hi hi my fellow bloggers! Just wanted a recap of the outfits I featured in my latest lookbook. They're mostly screencaps of my video, but I thought it would be a nice little summary for those who enjoyed it and instead of re-watching the video, can just get the basic gist of the outfits here!

I have taken some better quality photos, but I thought instead of bombarding you with A MILLION PICTURES, I could just put them up over time!

If you have NO CLUE as to what I'm talking about, I've filmed a lookbook video of some of my spring/summer picks, and you can watch it here:

And here are the outfits summarised!

Look 1 - Transitioning from spring into summer!

Look 2 - Different blazers, different outfits

Look 3 - Brights from Night & Day

And there you go! For details of where each item is from, check out the lookbook video. Also, for more high-quality images, stay tuned!

And lastly, if you liked the items, dont forget to SIGN UP FOR DAILYLOOK! That way, all of the items you see here can be made available to everyone, everywhere! Sign up here: http://bit.ly/DLSignUpjm and just use your email/facebook to become a member!

For more info, I've talked about it in my DailyLook Haul which you can watch here:

Alright, I think that's it for me. That's enough shameless plugging. haha! Thank you for all your continuous support everyone and I'm going to keep trying hard to keep new videos coming!

Thanks everyone!

New getting ready with me vid!

Hi everyone so just wanted to accompany my video with a blog post with pics. So as you all know, I'm back in Australia but i'm still uploading videos I filmed in the philippines so that I have something to upload weekly.

So now that that's cleared up, I'm actually in the middle of doing two assignments both due this friday, but what the heck. I figured this could be a good "study break". haha.
if you havent seen the YT video here it is!

And here are some outfit pictures (courtesy of my lovely little brother - not the one shown here).

|| Redhead white peplum top || Newlook Corduroy Highwaisted Shorts || Novo Black Suede Pointed Wedges || Alexander Wang Inspired Rocco Bag || Lovisa Gold Cuff Necklace || Cotton on black waterfall open cardigan ||

Notice the shoe change? I always bring with me some spare flats for when I'm out walking for a while!
Remind me to do a haul?

Anyways that's all. Hope you guys enjoyed the pics, sorry it's pic heavy but I figured almost everyone's got broadband now-a-days right? haha.

Cheers!

Hello everyone, it's been a while.

So it has definitely been too long since my last blog post, and many apologies for that. However, the past few weeks I was having problems with flickr which is where I upload my photos, and furthermore I've just generally felt a bit too lazy to blog. I really want to change the layout of my blog because it's just so... blah.

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to the overwhelming number of responses I got (and still get) from my past posts. I'm really so lucky to have stumbled onto the world of youtube and blogging and to have received so much support from people I have never met, but I regard as my friends. Really is amazing.

Anyways, I just wanted to update this because it's embarassing how dead it is at the moment. So here's an outfit post for you all, showing how I wore this gorgeous newlook top that I featured in my fashion haul video which I will include a link to below as well.

Outfit
Asymmetric Top - New Look (Sold out)
Faux Leather Shorts - Goodnight Macaroon
Alexander Wang Inspired Bag - Ebay (Real AW Rocco: here)

PS - Before anyone comments, it's not ALWAYS cold where I live. In fact, it's been quite hot & humid the past couple of days :(

As if that wasnt bad enough, I have been terrible and shopping so much this month too! I think because it's my birthday month that I'm just secretly telling myself that it's acceptable. I've actually purchased a bunch of stuff online that hopefully will be coming soon so I can film yet ANOTHER haul! haha. I'll probably have to break it up into parts because there's so much.

But as always, there are still always items that are somewhat out of our reach but we always lust for. My biggest debate is whether I want to invest in a rose gold watch. I love the highly coveted MK Rose gold watches, but I havent been able to bring myself to spend the $$$. And if I do get one, not sure if I should go for the trendy "Rose Gold" or if I should stick to the ever so reliable "Gold". Please let me know your opinions! And if you have one, how much do you LOVE it? haha.

And of course, I want the ever so popular double strap Zara heels that can be found almost ANYWHERE. Not sure who started it (Alexander Wang?) but I love the simple minimalistic but classy feel to it. I'm actually currently bidding on a pair on ebay, so wish me luck!!

Well, i think i'll end it here for now. Goodnight y'all!

Playing with polkadots!

So this is the second part of my "Mixed Prints" post... however this ended up  being the first part of my youtube video uploads (confusing much?)

This time I want to show you how you can go about mixing polka dots. I seriously adore the polka dots. Stripes and Polkadots are probably the most classic of all prints and if you're new to prints, invest in these pieces. You can easily mix them with other prints, textures, bold colours - the styling options are endless.

Here I'm showing you how you can go day to night with the same top (actually a dress). I've only shown you two pieces, but you can wear a nice pair of leather pants with it, high waisted shorts, midi-skirt - I kid you not, they will just about go with anything. Polkadots also come in all sorts of apparel - dresses, skirts, pants; and of course they come in all sorts of sizes (big polkadots and small polka dots), and different colours!

Dont be afraid to be bold and try to put together different pieces that you dont think will naturally work together. Find a way of tidying the look together with common ground - eg: colours/similar hues, similar accents/theme. Again, if all else fails, mixing prints together with a neutral colour palette ALWAYS works :D

DAY LOOK:

Metallic Choker - Lovisa | Polkadot Chiffon Dress (worn as a top) - From Japan | Leopard Print Metallic skirt - Supre | Clutch - Sportsgirl | Heels - New look (Actually would have preferred to wear nude/gold pumps instead of black strappy sandals in retrospect)

PS - I apologise for my awful state. Hair Styling wise, I would have curled my hair with a side part and all of the curls falling to the side :)

Anyways, sorry again for the unedited pictures. So lazy. I didnt even bother to crop them (naughty me). But hope you guys enjoy nonetheless, and if you're a visual person, dont forget to check out my youtube video on it! :D

Cool Cafes

I think that some of the best things in life is just going to a cafe with mates and having a cup of coffee together. I have always been on the hunt for that perfect little cafe that's cozy enough with great aesthetics and quality food. This is definitely one of my favourite cafe's. It's the cutest little thing. It's quirky, girly with a shabby-chic type of feel. I love how they decorated with fairly lights, old biscuit tins, chandeliers, a violin and of course - who could ever skip on a rocking horse?? It's a shame I didn't take a photo of the rocking horse but seriously, LOVE this cafe.

Sadly, I've heard news that it's currently on the market. WHY OH WHY? I am truly hopeful that it will remain open for business and that this will not be the last of my visits there :)

Reuse, reduce, recyle!

Hi everyone so I thought I'd do another outfit blog post. Now this was actually a previous outfit - taken the same day as my first outfit post. But I wanted to put this up because of the back story - this is actually a sneek peak of an upcoming lookbook. Unfortunately I have been blessed with a very tempermental Windows Movie Maker which freezes everytime I've tried to edit this lookbook. I'm not sure if it's the files because I tried to edit another video and it worked fine. Anyways, I've taken a break from it because it's been frustrating me and taking up too much time.

So here's a shot of one of the outfits for as an apology. I was hoping to actually put this up when I finished editing the lookbook, but patience is a virtue I'm afraid.

ANYWAYS, so in this look I'm featuring the same shirt as my first Outfit post, just to show how versatile it is. I love the monochromatic look as most of you should be aware already, and grey has never done me wrong. It's such a neutral basic colour that you can absolutely add to. A lovely bright pink lipstick would work wonderfully here or replace the grey bag with a nice bright clutch and you're great. However I also dont mind just keeping it quite muted in colour given the bold statement shorts I'm wearing.

Well, I'm sure you just want to skip to the photos... so here they are:

Animal Print high waisted shorts - Kmart
Grey Tote Bag - Celine

Hope you guys enjoy!
