This is an outfit I wore a few weeks ago, when the weather was cooling down. This outfit was so comfortable, I was able to have the long cardigan coat which kept me warm outside, and the vest keeps me just warm enough indoors. Layering is easily my favourite kind of style, but sometimes it can be tedious when trying to stop the overbulking. As a general rule, when in doubt start with the basics like a simple t-shirt and jeans. Then usually go for a vest or small jacket, and on top of that a coat. Try mix different textures and thickness of the material to prevent over bulking. It's also not a bad idea to have a belt handing for cinching if the style loses shape. Layering should be fun, and it's definately something I enjoy. Dont be afraid to mix different prints, different shades, different textures. Anyways, 2 more days until officially back at word and I'm certainly not looking forward to it. I hate that post-holiday slum prior to going back to work. It's the absolute worst... :(

New getting ready with me vid!

Hi everyone so just wanted to accompany my video with a blog post with pics. So as you all know, I'm back in Australia but i'm still uploading videos I filmed in the philippines so that I have something to upload weekly.

So now that that's cleared up, I'm actually in the middle of doing two assignments both due this friday, but what the heck. I figured this could be a good "study break". haha.

Instagram

So I've been absolutely addicted to instagram since getting my new phone and I just wanted to remind those who dont know yet that I HAVE INSTAGRAM! A lot of people have been asking me in the past if I had instagram and what my username was so here it is: it's @heyyy_june

So that was basically a recap of my week in instagram pics. Just packing as we speak for my connecting flight back home and back to reality (aka uni. ugh.) and I'm dreading it terribly. Just dont ever want tomorrow to come :(

I'm also currently uploading a Video at the moment (hint: it's a TAG vid involving my brother) and whilst on the topic of videos I actually just wanted to let you guys know that you should start expecting my video numbers to go down significantly in the upcoming months. I have filmed quite a few videos I still havent edited so hopefully I can edit them and schedule them so it will not feel like I've gone MIA completely, but those who read my blog will know that is happening. Basically, I feel like I'm clutching at straws with time management and with this almost 2weeks leave I've taken from uni for the funeral, I have a tonne of uni work to do and class time to make up (mostly over my weekends too). oh fun.

But yes, thats reality of things. And as I end this post to continue my packing, I will leave you with some horrible webcam pics that my brother and I took at the airport on my bday prior to leaving Australia. (Just found them on my computer - honestly forgot about them already!)

Outfit Post.

Hi Everyone I've just returned from the provinces for my grandmother's funeral. I do want to dedicate a separate post for her but I guess now is not the right time. Overall, the trip was nice and I was able to finally get closure. However I do still feel like it's unreal somewhat, and I have to keep reminding myself that she really is gone.

I do have some videos that I would like to edit and have up so stay tuned for that, but for now I figured that easiest thing to update would be this blog with an outfit post that I wore just the other day. Not much to say about this outfit but I am absolutely loving these faux-leather shorts from newlook that I was lucky to find in the kids section. I'm telling y'all, dont knock it until you try it. I usually find my wonderfully form-flattering clothing pieces from the kids section, so definately hit it up! Also would like to thank my beautiful little sister (who is only just 11yo) for taking these lovely pics. Thanks babygirl <3

My birthday pics

Hi everyone! So for those who follow me on instagram and facebook, you probably would have known that on the 20th of July I celebrated my 23rd birthday which I may add was a very hectic 24hrs.

I'm also currently in the philippines at the moment for my grandmother's funeral which will take place on Saturday. I really dont want to get into it right now, mostly because I still feel like it's still some horrible dream.

Nonetheless, I apologise greatly for my lack of videos because the internet has not been the best and I actually tried to upload a haul vid yesterday and it gave me an estimation of 4000hrs to upload.... needless to say, it just didnt happen.

Hopefully you guys wont mind if I upload the vids when I get home where I have faster internet!
